Hello to all you wonderful people out there! I was finally able to take the photos commemorating the puppy 6th-week birthday! 🙂 You see, they were 6 weeks old on Tuesday, but they all needed baths on Tuesday. So, Tuesday night I gave all 5 puppies a bath (what a feat!), then gave their mama a bath, and then gave myself a bath! 🙂 So, today I was able to give all the puppies’ faces a trim and get good pictures (thanks to my mom’s help–couldn’t have done it without her!).
Also, the update that I promised of the puppies’ current schedule (as they get older, it will be updated):
6:00 am: Wake up, potty outside, and breakfast.
10:00 am: Potty time, playtime, and outside in the kennel for the day.
2:00 pm: Potty time and playtime.
6:00 pm: Potty time, playtime, and supper.
9:00 pm: Sunset, potty time, and inside for bed.
Note: As of today, I am beginning the crate training stage of the puppies initial potty training. Since I’m just starting this, and the puppies still aren’t able to hold their potty all through the night, I am going to have to bring them out for a potty time once during the night until they’re a little bigger.
2:00 am: Potty time.
6:00 am: Start all over again!
As you can see, I have the puppies on an approximate 4 hour schedule for potty breaks. When you bring your pup into your home, you can definitely adjust him or her to your personal schedule, but make sure that you keep consistent intervals between their potty breaks. Consistency is key!
Now for the photos!
